Even though we are on hiatus, we are still hard at work over here, and there is going to be a lot of fun content coming your way from Hollywood Girl TV! Like our newest segment "Hollywood Girl Minute" Where we talk about our favorites in Beauty, Fashion, Entertainment, Health and Lifestyle! Also, we will take you behind the scenes with Hollywood Girl thanks to our friends at OneNinth Productions! We will be getting you as excited as we are with some bonus footage pertaining to a little trip to Marseille Web Fest in October! And of course, some fun photo shoots with the cast in preparation for Season 3 and the HOLLYWOOD GIRL MINI-MOVIE (Which has an even bigger surprise in store)! At the LA Web Fest Awards, Hollywood Girl was selected by the Founder/President of the Marseille Web Fest, Jean Michel, Executive Director of LA Web Fest, Michael Ajakwe Jr., and Cultural Minister of Marseille, Stefane Rizzo, to join them as an advanced selection for the 3rd Edition Marseille Web Series Festival on October 11 & 12 in France! Courtney will be flying out to screen and represent Hollywood Girl in front of an International Audience! Words cannot express our excitement and gratitude to LA Web Fest and Marseille Web Fest for their support of the show! Merci!

We are excited to be going back for the 2nd year of the Hollyweb Festival this year! The festival just started last year and already they have grown emmensely! Way to go guys!

We are so pleased to announce that we will be going back to the Los Angeles Web Series Festival In March for Season 2! Last year we won 8 awards in the comedy category, and spoke on various panels through out the festival. We are excited to see whats in store for HG this year!

Courtney will be interviewed for the 2nd Edition of Byte-Sized Television: Create Your Own TV Series for the Internet by Veteran Producer/Writer Ross Brown. Very exciting!

All of us at Hollywood Girl would like to take a moment to congratulate the fabulous Miss Kelsey Scott (HG's co-writer and Madison on the show) for landing a co-starring role in the new Steve McQueen movie "Twelve Years a Slave". We are so proud of you Kels!! Keep up the great work!

Popular Series Hollywood Girl in Production for Sophomore Season

In Hollywood, "The Road to stardom is full of missteps"

Los Angeles, CA February 9, 2012- Independent production company, La Dolce Zito Productions, announced today that the popular Web Series, Hollywood Girl, is currently in production for its second season. If you haven't heard of the series yet, the show goes something like this, if Entourage, Sex and The City and Friends had a baby, it would be a "Hollywood Girl".

From Executive Producers Courtney Zito and Taryn Teigue, Hollywood Girl follows the comically blundering, yet inspirationally uplifting, life of celebrity hopeful, and beautiful disaster, Quinn Monroe. A self-proclaimed cliché (aspiring actress by day and waitress by night), Quinn feels her dreams of silver screen stardom actualizing as a waking nightmare of never-ending obstacles and roadblocks. Broke, tired, confused and, constantly tripping over her mark, she's literally bruised, but delightfully determined. With life, heart, spirit and the carefree, fun-loving support of her three best friends, Quinn looks past the setbacks and black-and-blues to see her shining star on the walk of fame, which to her isn't too far ahead. Or maybe it is. She is determined to conquer Hollywood, but the road to stardom is full of missteps. "Two steps forward and ten steps back," like the show's original theme song says, "She's there for life: She's a Hollywood Girl."

In 2011, after airing only four episodes, the series was selected and screened by the International Television Festival in Hollywood, CA. Courtney Zito, who plays the lead character of Quinn Monroe, was nominated by the festival as "Best Actress in a Comedy". (She lost to veteran Missy Pyle) Also in 2011, Time Warner Cable's INdTelevision, a channel dedicated to emerging indie artists of all types, snagged the series very early on for their on demand line up which is currently available on the West Coast.

After a hiatus to focus on the Production Company's other projects, the series has just started filming their sophomore season which will have 13 episodes (as opposed to six in their first season) “We are taking more chances this season, we have learned a lot and we want to take the show to the next level.” Said the show’s creator, Courtney Zito. According to Zito, They have amped up the writing, the locations, the acting, the cast, and have some notable television actors joining them in season two.

Danielle Bisutti (Last Man Standing, Hot in Cleveland, Body of Proof) will be back as Pascha Maneer, a movie star who surprisingly befriends Quinn after she tackles Pascha on the Red Carpet in season one. Ralph Cole Jr. (Dexter, Big Time Rush, Desperate Housewives) will be making a guest appearance in a hilarious scene in the new season's second episode, and Ronnie Butler Jr. (True Jackson VP, First Day, and most notably as President Barack Obama in the musical YouTube sensation "Modern U.S. President") will be joining the cast later on in the season. Details of his role are not being released at this time.
